2 Arrested in Police Chase Crash at Locust Avenue and Arrow Blvd
Fontana, CA (March 15, 2024) – Robert Phung, 36, and Jessica Vega, 34, are facing multiple charges following a police chase that ended in a crash at Locust Avenue and Arrow Boulevard. The incident, involving two vehicles, occurred around 1:34 p.m. on March 15, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Police Chase Started When Robert Phung Refused To Pull Over
Deputies attempted to pull over Robert Phung, the driver of a white Dodge Charger, after witnessing a vehicle code violation. However, the Robert Phung failed to yield, leading to a pursuit. The chase ended when the Dodge Charger collided with a Honda Civic at the intersection. Following the crash, the two occupants, Robert Phung and Jessica Vega of the Charger, attempted to flee but were apprehended by Fontana Police.
The driver of the Honda Civic sustained minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
