Early Morning Freeway Crash in Riverside Sends 1 To Hospital
Riverside, CA (April 18th, 2023) – An early morning solo-car accident on the 215 Freeway near Central Avenue resulted in one person sustaining major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The accident occurred around 2:19 a.m. on Monday and caused significant debris to be strewn across all the lanes of the freeway.
For reasons that remain unclear, the driver of a white Nissan sedan crashed into the center median, causing severe damage to the vehicle. The arriving CHP officers found the car in a severely damaged state and transported the injured driver to the Community Hospital for immediate medical attention.

Meanwhile, the northbound lanes of the freeway were closed around 2:35 a.m. as emergency crews worked to clear the debris from the scene and diverted traffic off Central Avenue.
