Hit-and-run Driver’s Vehicle Strikes and Drags Man in Rialto, Killing Him

RIALTO, CA (November 9, 2018) – A hit-and-run driver struck a man in the evening on Tuesday in Rialto, and then the vehicle dragged the victim. The November 6 accident occurred where Sycamore Avenue and Baseline Avenue intersect, according to the Rialto Police Department.

The time was roughly 9:00 p.m.

According to reports from witnesses, the victim was struck by a vehicle and then dragged on the street. Responders arrived and found the man was lying in the road. Responders pronounced him deceased at the accident scene.

No details have yet been reported on the identity of the victim. Details are also not currently available on the type of vehicle that struck the man.

Investigators are working to identify what caused the accident, and who was involved. Officers are looking for the driver and vehicle that hit the victim.
