Collision in Redondo Beach Involving Two Motorcycles Kills One Person
REDONDO BEACH, CA (November 11, 2019) – Two motorcycles collided early in the morning on Saturday in Redondo Beach, killing one person. The November 9 incident occurred on Aviation Boulevard in the 1700 block.
The time was a little after 12:00 a.m., according to Redondo Beach Police.
Reports say the motorcycles were on Aviation Boulevard when one of the motorcycles struck a curb. The motorcycle then struck the other motorcycle.
Responders arrived and transported both of the motorcyclists to a hospital in the area. According to Shawn Freeman, who is a lieutenant with the Redondo Beach Police, one of the riders was pronounced deceased in the hospital. The identity of the person, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The other rider suffered injuries that were described as critical. The person’s current condition is not known. The identity of the rider, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
