7 Injured, Including 6 Children, in School Bus Crash On Bob Hope Drive
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (October 22, 2024) — Seven people, including six children, were injured in a school bus accident at the intersection of Ramon Road and Bob Hope Drive on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The collision occurred around 12:45 p.m. when, for reasons still under investigation, a school bus collided with two other vehicles at the busy intersection. Emergency responders from Cal Fire and Riverside County Fire Department quickly arrived on the scene and transported seven individuals, including the driver of one of the vehicles, to a nearby hospital.
CHP Is Still Investigating The Cause of The Bus Accident
While the exact cause of the crash remains unclear, the California Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to determine the factors that led to the accident.
