Pomona, CA (November 21, 2023) – A man lost his life in a hit-and-run incident involving two cars at the intersection of Towne Avenue and Philadelphia Street, according to Pomona Police.

The fatal collision occurred around 11:13 p.m. last Friday under circumstances that remain unclear. The two vehicles collided near the intersection, situated in front of a small plaza adjacent to a convenience store.
Following the impact, the male driver of one of the vehicles chose to flee the scene. Shortly after receiving reports of the incident, police arrived at the location to find the driver of the second car inside, unresponsive. The collision left debris scattered across the intersection, and a power box was visibly damaged.
The Driver Was Quickly Transported To A Hospital Where He Later Died From His Injuries
Paramedics swiftly transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries. Despite the event, officials have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
