1 Dead in Crash on 10 Fwy Near Kellogg Ave.
Pomona, CA (July 3, 2024) – A deadly accident on the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway near Kellogg Drive resulted in one fatality early Wednesday morning. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m., leaving at least one person dead at the scene.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, with no immediate explanation available. Factors such as DUI or speeding have not been ruled out at this time.
CHP Officers Shutdown The 10 Freeway While They Performed Their Investigation
In response to the incident, CHP officers rerouted commuters away from the area to conduct a thorough investigation. The closure and rerouting caused significant traffic delays during the morning commute.
