Hit-and-run Driver Strikes and Critically Injures Pedestrian in Pomona
POMONA, CA (March 25, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and critically injured by a hit-and-run driver in Pomona on Sunday night. The March 24 accident occurred where Reservoir Street and Holt Avenue intersect, according to the Pomona Police Department.
The time was roughly a bit before 10:30 p.m.
Reports say the pedestrian—identified as a man—was struck, and the driver left the scene. Respondents transported the injured man to a hospital. His condition was described as critical. His name, age, and city of residence have not been reported.
It is not known from reports where the man had been walking when the vehicle struck him. Investigators are examining the details and information to locate the vehicle and driver involved in the incident.
