Man Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Pomona Crash
POMONA, CA (March 19, 2020) – Andreas Dimopoulos was identified by the coroner’s office as the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Pomona on Friday. The March 13 incident happened on Reservoir Street, close to where Ninth Street is located.
The time was roughly 3:25 a.m., Pomona Police said.
Reports say the motorcycle Dimopoulos had been riding, and a vehicle—described as an SUV—collided.
Responders arrived and pronounced Dimopoulos deceased at the incident site. He was 41 years old, and a resident of Pomona.
The person who had been driving the SUV stayed at the incident site and cooperated with investigators. The identity of the driver, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported. It is not known if the driver was injured in the crash.
