PISMO BEACH, CA (October 10, 2019) – A vehicle crashed into a tractor late Wednesday in Pismo Beach, and the driver fled from the site. The October 9 incident occurred on Shell Beach Road near the Cliffs Hotel and Spa.
The time was a little after 11:00 p.m.
Reports say a vehicle smashed into a tractor that had been parked in a construction zone, striking it head on. The driver then fled the scene.
Police searched for the driver, but could not locate the person. No description of the driver has been reported. The vehicle was described as black in color. The make and model of the vehicle have not been reported.
Investigators are searching for the driver involved in the incident. They are collecting details, information, and evidence to find out what sequence of events preceded the crash, and what factors contributed to it.
