Collision on Highway 76 in San Diego County’s Pauma Valley Kills One Person
PAUMA VALLEY, CA (January 3, 2020) – On Thursday night, a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 76 in San Diego County’s Pauma Valley killed one person. The January 2 incident occurred in the northeast area of the county, close to Pauma Reservation Road.
The time was roughly 10:35 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
Reports say three vehicles collided, but the manner in which the incident occurred has not been described. The types of vehicles involved have also not been described.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol and firefighters responded to the crash, with firefighters working to extricate victims who were trapped in two of the wrecked vehicles.
