PASO ROBLES, CA – Multi-Car Wreck Injures Olivia Beery and Lindsay Beery on Highway 101 Off-Ramp Onto Highway 46

PASO ROBLES, CA (June 26, 2018) – Lindsay Beery was traveling through Paso Robles with her 4-year-old daughter, Olivia Beery, around 11:00 a.m. on June 14 when they were involved in a multi-vehicle collision. The accident occurred on the Highway 101 off-ramp onto Highway 46.
According to news reports, Beery made a stop at a red light on the Highway 101 off-ramp. Her Honda CRV was then rear-ended by another vehicle. The collision pushed Beery’s vehicle into the car ahead of her, and then her vehicle spun out and rolled down the embankment. Beery’s 4-year-old was severely injured. Lindsay was also injured, and the dog traveling with them was missing.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision. According to California Highway Patrol, Olivia was not restrained when the accident occurred. According to Lindsay Beery, her daughter had climbed out of her car seat while the vehicle was stopped at the red light.
Rescuers brought Olivia to Sierra Vista Regional Center in San Luis Obispo. She was then then transferred to Valley Christian Hospital in Madera. Her injuries reportedly include several broken ribs, front teeth knocked out, and a punctured lung.
Neighbors found the missing dog five days after the collision. The dog received a free check-up by North County Animal Hospital in Paso.
