Male Pedestrian, 94, Struck and Killed By 78 Year Old
PASADENA, CA (October 16, 2024) – A 94-year-old man was fatally injured in a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Colorado Boulevard on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. when a 78-year-old Pasadena resident struck the elderly pedestrian under unclear circumstances. Pasadena Police officers arrived at the scene and found the victim with major injuries.
The 94 Year Old Victim Was In Critical Condition And Died In A Local Hospital
Paramedics transported the man to a local hospital in critical condition. Despite life-saving efforts, he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet released his identity.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police are urging anyone with additional information about the accident to contact them at (626) 744-4241.
