Driver Hits and Pins Man Against House in Palmdale, Killing Him
PALMDALE, CA (January 25, 2019) – A driver hit and pinned a man against a house in Palmdale in the afternoon on Thursday, killing the victim. The January 24 accident occurred on 35th Street East in the 38500 block.
The time was roughly 4:10 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff.
Reports say that an SUV—described as champagne colored—had rammed the victim and pinned him against the building. A person—identified as a woman—who was at the accident scene said she knew the fatally injured man, and that the vehicle had hit him on purpose.
The woman—identified as Lorraine—said she was inside the house when she heard screaming coming from outside. She said she looked out of the window, and saw her friend smashed against the wall, by a male who was inside the truck.
Respondents transported the victim to a local hospital. He was pronounced deceased. Lorraine said the man who died was in his mid-20s. His name and city of residence have not yet been reported.
Reports say the driver fled the accident scene. The driver’s identity—including his name, age, and city of residence—are not known, and a description of him has not yet been reported.
