Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Car in Palm Springs
Palm Springs, CA (April 28, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident on North Gene Autry Trail claimed the life of one person on Sunday evening, April 28. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. near East Via Escuela, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
The victim, identified only as a 31-year-old resident of Auburn, was traveling north on North Gene Autry Trail when they collided with a vehicle heading in the opposite direction. The vehicle was making a left turn onto East Via Escuela at the time of the crash.
The Impact From Slamming Head On With A Car Resulted In Fatal Injuries For The Rider
The impact of the collision resulted in fatal injuries to the motorcyclist, who died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a 64-year-old resident of Rancho Mirage, suffered moderate injuries.
Authorities have ruled out drugs or alcohol as factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
