Motorcycle and Car Collide in Oxnard, Killing Rider
OXNARD, CA (February 24, 2021) – Early in the evening on Monday in Oxnard, a motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a vehicle. The February 22 incident occurred where E Street and Wooley Road intersect.
The time was roughly 6:50 p.m., according to Oxnard Police.
A vehicle–described as a Mercedes Benz–and a motorcycle collided. The manner in which the collision occurred has not been described. It is not known from reports what line of travel each vehicle had been taking prior to crashing.
Responders arrived and transported the rider to the VCMC trauma center. The person died in the hospital.
The identity of the rider, including his name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
It is not known from reports if the driver was hurt in the crash. The identity of the driver has not been reported. Reports do not say if there were any passengers in the car.
