Collision on Oxnard Boulevard in Oxnard Injures Two People

OXNARD, CA (January 9, 2019) – A collision on Oxnard Boulevard in Oxnard on Tuesday evening injured two people. The January 8 accident occurred close to Glenwood Drive.

The time was roughly 7:30 p.m.

According to reports, a vehicle rolled over in the crash, and struck a traffic signal, damaging it. Electrical wires—which were live—hung down in the street.

Respondents from the fire department had to work to extricate one person from the wreckage. They transported two victims to the hospital. The injuries suffered by the victims were described as serious, but not life threatening.

It is not clear from reports if the wrecked vehicle collided with another vehicle. The type of vehicle, or vehicles, involved in the crash have not yet been reported.

The identities of the victims—including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence—have not yet been reported, nor has the identity of the driver been reported.
