Crash in Ontario on 15 Freeway Kills One Person
ONTARIO, CA (April 24, 2020) – On Wednesday night in Ontario, a person was killed in a crash on the 15 Freeway. The April 22 incident occurred on the southbound side of the freeway, near Jurupa Avenue and to the north of it.
The time was roughly 10:53 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
Reports say that a vehicle–described only as a truck–crashed and rolled over. No details are known regarding how the crash happened.
Responders from the Ontario Fire Department arrived and worked to free the people trapped in the wreckage of the vehicle. According to reports, at least one person was killed.
The identity of the person who died has not been reported, including name, age, gender, and city of residence.
It is not clear how many people were in the vehicle that crashed. At least one other person may have been involved in the crash, but the person’s identity has not been reported. It is not known if the person was hurt in the crash.
The identity of the person who had been driving the vehicle when it crashed is also not known.
Investigators are doing the work of collecting information and details to understand what may have caused the accident.
