A person was killed Friday, and two others were injured Friday in a rollover car crash. The rollover occurred near Dodge Stadium, said Los Angeles fire officials.
Video from the crash scene depicts a white sport utility vehicle on its side. The body of a victim is covered in a white sheet next to the vehicle. The crash happened in the 800 block of West Academy Road.
The two other injured, passengers, were ejected from the vehicle. The extent of their injuries is unknown, but authorities, according to fire spokesman Bryan Humphrey, were interviewing two passengers.
Police, who were on the scene first, alerted paramedics about 8:15 a.m., according to Humphrey. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time and it isn’t clear if there were any other vehicles involved in the crash.
