Driver Injured After Crashing into Norwalk Medical Building on Studebaker Road
NORWALK, CA (May 16, 2019) – A driver was injured early in the morning on Wednesday after crashing into a medical building in Norwalk. The May 15 incident occurred on Studebaker Road in the 12820 block.
The time was a bit before 2:00 a.m., according to Lieutenant Chavez. Chavez is with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Reports say a vehicle—described as a BMW—struck the Coast Plaza Medical Building, smashing through a wall and entering inside. Respondents arrived and transported a person who had been inside the vehicle to a hospital in the area. The injuries the person suffered have not been described, but they are not thought to be life threatening. The current condition of the person is not known. The identity of the person, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
