Hit-and-Run Crash in North Hollywood Leaves Local Man Dead
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 9, 2024) – A 33-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Victory Boulevard and Craner Avenue in North Hollywood early on the morning of September 13. For circumstances that are unknown, authorities are now finally ready to investigate the incident.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the victim was crossing Victory Boulevard outside of a crosswalk when a dark-colored vehicle traveling eastbound struck him at around 1:50 a.m. The driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid.
The Male Victim Was Transported To A Local Hospital
The man suffered severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. His identity has not yet been released.
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest of the driver involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact Investigator Reyes at 818-644-8114, or call the LAPD at 877-LAPD-24-7 outside of business hours.
