Vehicle Smashes into Sleeping Woman’s Bedroom in Nipomo
NIPOMO, CA (October 29, 2020) – Early in the morning on Thursday in Nipomo, a vehicle smashed into a house, injuring a woman who was asleep in her bedroom. The October 29 incident occurred on Osage Street in the 1400 block, close to where Eucalyptus Road intersects.
The time was a little after 1:00 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
A vehicle–which has not been described–went through a stop sign, CHP said, and smashed into the woman’s bedroom. The woman was injured in the incident, but the types of injuries she suffered have not been described.
Reports say she did not want to be taken to a hospital for treatment. Her name and age have not been reported.
The person who had been driving the vehicle–which was suspected stolen–fled the crash site on foot. The driver has not been described.
Investigators are searching for the suspect driver. They are gathering information regarding the incident.
The owner of the suspected stolen vehicle has not been identified in reports.
