Hit-and-run Drivers Injure Bicyclist on Pomeroy Road in Nipomo

NIPOMO, CA (February 5, 2020) –  Early in the morning on Tuesday, as many as two vehicles struck a bicyclist in Nipomo and left the scene. The February 4 incident occurred on Pomeroy Road in the 1300 block, close to Hidden Ranch Way.

The time was roughly 7:52 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

Reports say a bicyclist was struck by as many as two vehicles, and neither of the drivers stopped and remained at the accident site.

Responders arrived and found the victim had suffered injuries that were described as minor. The bicyclist did not want to go a hospital, reports say. The bicyclist’s identity—including name, age, gender, and city of residence—has not been reported.

Reports say a witness, who did not see the collision, saw the bicyclist on the ground, gesturing for help. No other details are known at this time.
