Two-vehicle Collision on Duffy Street in Muscoy Kills One, Injures Three Others
MUSCOY, CA (June 19, 2019) – A two-vehicle collision in the late afternoon on Tuesday in Muscoy killed one person and injured three others. The June 18 incident occurred on Duffy Street in the 3300 block.
The time was a little before 5:00 p.m., according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
Two vehicles—each with two occupants—collided, Eric Sherwin said. Sherwin is a spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Fire Department. According to Sherwin, respondents took four people to a hospital. Two of the victims suffered injuries that were described as life-threatening.
Ivan Sandoval, who is an officer with the California Highway Patrol in the San Bernardino office, said one person had been thrown from one of the vehicles when the collision happened.
One person died several hours after the incident, reports say. The person who died was identified only as a man 20 years old, and a resident of San Bernardino. The man’s name has not been reported.
The other victims in the crash have not been identified, including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence. According to Sandoval, one of the victims is a minor.
No other details have been reported. The investigation is continuing.
