Hit-and-run Driver Seriously Injures Bicyclist on Quintana Road in Morro Bay

MORRO BAY, CA (October 18, 2019) – On Wednesday, a hit-and-run struck a bicyclist in Morro Bay, and left him seriously injured. The October 16 incident occurred on Quintana Road.

The time was roughly 7:00 p.m. according to Morro Bay Police.

Reports say the victim was riding home after work and traveling in the bicycle lane. A driver, who was traveling north on Quintana Road, struck him and left him.

Responders transported the victim to a hospital. The injuries he suffered were described as critical. His condition has been described as stable.

The victim was identified only as 55 years old. His name has not been reported.

Investigators are searching for the vehicle and the suspect driver. According to reports, the vehicle may have been a Chevrolet Colorado, either a navy blue or royal blue in color.
