Menifee Woman Struck by 2 Vehicles in Horrific Hit-and-Run Incident

Female Pedestrian Struck and Killed by 2 Cars That Fled The Scene On Ethanac Road
MENIFEE, CA (November 17, 2024) – A pedestrian was seriously injured Sunday evening after being struck by two vehicles near Ethanac Road and Sherman Road, according to the Menifee Police Department.
The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. when an SUV veered onto the shoulder of Ethanac Road, striking a female pedestrian. The impact propelled the woman into the opposite side of the street, where she was hit by a second vehicle.

Both drivers fled the scene, leaving the injured pedestrian behind. Fortunately, Good Samaritans nearby rushed to her aid and contacted emergency services. Paramedics transported the woman to a hospital, where she was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have yet to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident. The Menifee Police Department’s Traffic Unit is urging anyone with information about the drivers or the vehicles involved to come forward by calling 951-723-1500.
Authorities remind drivers to prioritize safety, particularly in areas with pedestrian traffic. Staying alert, scanning the road, and exercising extra caution at night or near intersections can help prevent accidents.
