Los Angeles Homeless Man Struck and Killed on 110 Freeway
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (November 20, 2024) – A man identified as Marquis Ray was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident on the 110 Freeway near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene around 8:35 p.m. Officers found Marquis Ray, a homeless man, in the carpool lane of the Harbor Freeway. Investigators determined that he had attempted to cross the freeway when he was fatally struck by a vehicle.
Marquis Ray Was Later Identified By The LA County Coroner
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner later identified the victim as Marquis Ray.
The incident remains under investigation, and the CHP is asking anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
