North Hollywood Man Run Over on Tujunga Avenue Dies
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 1, 2022) – On Monday afternoon in North Hollywood, a man was killed when a trailer ran over him after an argument with a driver. The February 28 incident occurred on Tujunga Avenue.
The time was roughly 3:40 p.m., Los Angeles Police said.
According to authorities, a vehicle–described as a Toyota Tundra–was pulling a trailer and heading north on Tujunga Avenue. When the pickup truck stopped moving in traffic, a pedestrian and the driver of the pickup truck engaged in an argument.
No details have been reported on what prompted the argument, nor where the pedestrian came from.
Reports say the pedestrian stepped onto the left wheel-well of the trailer and climbed up. When the pickup truck started to move, the pedestrian fell onto the roadway.
The trailer ran over the man, and he was trapped beneath it.
Responders from Los Angeles Fire arrived, and pronounced the man deceased at the site of the incident. His identity has not been reported.
The person who was driving the pickup truck has also not been identified.
Investigators are working on the incident, and if anyone has information, the person can call the Los Angeles Police Department.
