MALIBU, CA (November 15, 2022) – Early in the afternoon on Monday in Malibu, a crash on Pacific Coast Highway killed a person. The November 14 crash occurred close to Kanan Dume Road.
The time was roughly 12:30 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The exact number of vehicles involved in the crash has not yet been reported; however, reports say a car overturned and caught fire, another vehicle had damage, and a motorcycle was down on the roadway.
The line of travel of each vehicle prior to the collision has not been reported.
The person who died has not been identified in reports, including name, age, gender, and city of residence.
No one involved in the crash has been identified, and the number of people who were involved is not yet known.
Investigators are continuing their process to collect details and information in order to understand how and why the crash happened.
