Driver Fled Scene in Fatal Crash At Pico Blvd
Los Angeles, CA (July 7, 2024) — A fatal hit-and-run accident occurred early Sunday morning at the intersection of Pico Boulevard and San Pedro Street, resulting in the death of one individual.
The incident took place around 6:00 a.m. when Los Angeles police were called to the scene in downtown Los Angeles. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 26-year-old victim in an abandoned vehicle that had crashed. According to authorities, the victim’s injuries were fatal.
21 Year Old Woman Lost Control And Crashed Killing Her 26 Year Old Male Passenger
Investigations revealed that a 21-year-old woman was driving the westbound car when she lost control and crashed. The circumstances of the crash remain unclear, and the woman fled the scene following the accident.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released, as officials are awaiting notification of the family members. The cause of the hit-and-run accident is still under investigation.
The Los Angeles Police Department is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
