Pedestrian Fatally Struck on 110 Freeway Near 1st Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 3, 2025) – A pedestrian lost their life after being hit by a vehicle on the 110 Freeway near 1st Street early Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), officers responded to reports of a pedestrian accident at approximately 6:30 a.m. Upon arrival, authorities discovered that a driver had struck a person lying in the freeway’s southbound lanes. Investigators believe the victim was already on the roadway before any vehicles approached.
Driver Remained At The Scene and Cooperated With CHP Officers
The driver of a Honda Civic involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. Authorities suspect that multiple vehicles may have struck the pedestrian.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
