Crash in Hansen Dam Area Kills One, Injures Two in Los Angeles, CA
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 31, 2022) – Early in the evening on Friday, a two cars collided head on, killing one person and injuring two others. The May 27 crash occurred on Wentworth Street in the 10800 block, in the area of Hansen Dam.
The time was roughly 7:07 p.m., Nicholas Prange said. Prange is with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No details have been reported on how the crash happened, and the vehicles have not been described.
Responders found one person had been killed in the crash. The identity of the person has not been reported.
Responders worked to free two people who were trapped in the wreckage. They transported the two patients to a hospital in the area.
The condition of the patients was described as critical.
No one involved in the crash has been identified, including name, age, gender, and city of residence.
Investigators are working to understand why and how the crash happened. They are in the process of collecting information.
