Los Angeles County, CA (April 10, 2023) – A fatal accident on Highway 138 near 110th Street left one person dead and five others injured on Monday evening. The incident involved a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck that overturned, spilling debris from the top of one of its trailers.
According to initial reports, the crash occurred at around 5:44 p.m. The exact circumstances leading up to the accident are unclear, and authorities have not released any further details.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene and found the overturned big rig and the dark-colored vehicle with significant damage. One person died at the scene, and emergency responders transported five others to the hospital, including four with critical injuries.
As of yet, authorities have not identified the deceased victim or confirmed which vehicle they were in at the time of the crash. The investigation into the accident is still ongoing, and further information may be released as it becomes available.
