Tanker Truck Lands on Top of SUV in Los Angeles Three-vehicle Crash on I-5
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 24, 2020) – Early in the morning on Tuesday in Los Angeles, a three-vehicle crash on I-5 caused a tanker truck to overturn, and come down onto an SUV. The November 24 incident occurred in the area of Lincoln Heights close to North Main Street, on the southbound side of the freeway.
The time was roughly 6:04 a.m.
The manner in which the three vehicles–a tanker truck, an SUV, and a pickup truck–collided has not been described. It is not known from reports the sequence in which the crashes occurred.
The tanker truck fell over and came down on top of the SUV. Responders arrived and transported patients, but it is not known from reports who was hurt, nor which vehicle each person had been traveling in.
The types of injuries the people suffered, and their current condition are not known. The drivers of the vehicles involved in the crash have not been identified, including their names, ages, gender, and cities of residence.
