Pedestrian Injured on Ardmore Avenue in Los Angeles by Hit-and-run Driver
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 9, 2020) – Early in the morning on Sunday in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles, a hit-and-run driver struck and injured a pedestrian. The March 8 incident occurred on Ardmore Avenue, close to 6th Street and to the north of it.
The time was roughly 3:30 a.m., Los Angeles Police said.
Reports say a vehicle—described as a sedan, white in color with four doors—exited a parking lot and struck the pedestrian, who was walking on the sidewalk. The driver did not stop to help the victim, but left the scene.
Responders arrived and transported the victim to the hospital. He suffered injuries that were described only as severe. His current condition is not known.
He was identified as in his thirties. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
Investigators are searching for the vehicle involved in the crash, and the driver. The driver has not been described.
