Bicyclist Killed by Hit-and-run Driver Near Sepulveda Blvd. in San Fernando Valley
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 8, 2021) – Early in the morning on Saturday in North Hills East–a neighborhood in Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley–a bicyclist was killed by a hit-and-run driver. The March 6 incident occurred close to where Sepulveda Boulevard and Roscoe Boulevard intersect.
The time was roughly 4:20 a.m., Los Angeles Police said.
According to investigators, the bicyclist had been traveling inside a crosswalk to go across the intersection. A vehicle hit him. The driver did not remain at the crash site.
Responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the crash site and pronounced the bicyclist deceased. He was identified only as 38 years old. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
According to reports, authorities think the vehicle involved in the crash was a four-door Toyota Camry. The driver has not been described.
Investigators are searching for the suspect hit-and-run driver and the vehicle. If anyone has information about the crash, the person can call Officer Martinez at the Valley Traffic Division. The number is 818-644-8022.
