Two-vehicle Collision in Los Alamos on Highway 101 Kills 16-year-old Boy
LOS ALAMOS, CA (December 4, 2019) – A 16-year-old boy was killed in a collision late Saturday afternoon in Los Alamos. The November 30 incident occurred on Highway 101 at Cat Canyon Road.
The time was a little before 6:00 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reports say a vehicle—described as a Toyota Camry—had been traveling on Highway 101 when another vehicle—described as a Honda Accord—pulled in front of it. The Honda entered the highway from Cat Canyon Road and, according to reports, the two vehicles collided.
The person who was driving the Toyota suffered injuries that were described as minor. The driver was identified as a man 50 years old and a resident of Oxnard. His name has not been reported.
Three passengers were traveling in the Toyota. A passenger identified only as 38 years old, and a passenger identified as 11 years old suffered injuries that were described as minor. Their names have not been reported.
A passenger identified as a boy 16 years old died in the collision. His name has not been reported.
The person who was driving the Honda was identified as a man 46 years old and a resident of Parlier. He suffered injuries that were described as minor. His name has not been reported.
