Woman Fatally Strikes Pedestrian on Sierra Highway
LANCASTER, CA (January 13, 2025) — A pedestrian was killed Monday evening in a traffic accident on Sierra Highway near Lancaster Boulevard, according to local authorities.
The Lancaster Sheriff’s Station reported that the fatal collision occurred around 5:45 p.m. A woman driving a northbound blue sedan struck a pedestrian who was crossing Sierra Highway from west to east.
Pedestrian Was Pronounced Dead At The Scene
The victim sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
It remains unclear whether the driver remained at the scene or fled following the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the accident to contact the Sheriff’s Station as the investigation continues.
