John Brady, Retired Deputy U.S. Marshal, Dies in La Mesa Motorcycle Accident

LA MESA, CA (November 8, 2018) – A motorcycle accident in the morning on Wednesday in La Mesa killed John Brady, who was a retired deputy U.S. Marshal.

The November 7 accident occurred on Interstate 8 close to State Route 125 in the westbound lanes. The time was roughly 5:10 a.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol, John Brady died in the crash. Ben Walker, who is a public information officer for the U.S. Marshals Service, said Brady worked for almost 26 years for the Marshals Service. He had retired in January of 2007.

Brady’s current employment was as a security officer for the court at San Diego’s federal courthouse.

According to reports, no other person was hurt in the crash. No details have yet been reported on what caused the accident.

Investigators are examining the details to determine the accident’s causes.
