LA CRESCENTA, CA (July 15, 2018) – Six vehicles collided Sunday evening on the 210 Freeway in La Crescenta. The accident happened in the westbound lanes of the freeway a little bit east of La Cresenta Avenue at roughly 6:53 p.m.
A report from the California Highway Patrol says airbags deployed in the crash. The report does not identify which, or in how many vehicles this deployment occurred.
At this time, what led to the pile-up of at least six vehicles has not been reported.
Responders arrived on scene to provide medical help to any person who may have been injured. The report does not yet include what the injuries may have been, or how many people may have been hurt in the accident.
The number one and two lanes of the freeway were closed by officials on the scene.
Investigators are examining the details of the collision to determine what caused the vehicles to crash.
