Joshua Dean Cherry Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Kern County
ROSAMOND, CA (January 11, 2019) – Joshua Dean Cherry was struck by a vehicle and killed on Monday evening in Kern County. The January 7 accident happened in Rosamond, on Highway 14 and to the north of Rosamond Boulevard.
The accident occurred on the southbound side of Highway 14. The time was roughly 6:20 p.m.
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Cherry—31 years old—died at the accident scene.
No details have yet been reported on where Cherry was located when the vehicle struck him, and if he was walking along the road, or trying to cross it.
