A bloody face man was rescued from a Waterman Canyon after driving his car off a mountain side.
Rescuers found the survivor crawling on mountainous Highway 18 shoulder North of San Bernardino when they arrived. His face was bloodied from the accident he had about seven hours earlier. They airlifted him to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

At around 10:20 a.m. the man drove his vehicle off the mountain side. He managed to climb back onto the highway at about 5:15 p.m. then crawled to safety onto the highway shoulder when medical rescue arrived.
This accident is still under investigation.
