Woman Injured on Highway 86 in Multi-Vehicle Crash
IMPERIAL COUNTY, CA (June 6, 2025) — A three-vehicle collision early Friday morning disrupted traffic on southbound State Route 86 and left one woman injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:07 a.m. on June 6, just south of West Keystone Road. The vehicles involved were identified as a silver Lexus RX350, a silver Jeep SUV, and a Ford pickup truck.
Emergency Crews Had To Help The Injured Woman To Get Free From Her Vehicle
CHP reports indicate that both lanes of the highway were blocked, with debris scattered across the roadway. One woman was reportedly trapped inside her vehicle and unable to exit until emergency medical crews arrived. Responders from American Medical Response (AMR) reached the scene about 15 minutes after the crash was reported and treated the injured woman.
Multiple Tow Services Were Called In To Help Clear The Highway
All three vehicles were disabled as a result of the collision. Tow services from Premier Tow and Valley Tow were called in to clear the wreckage. By 5:30 a.m., traffic had been diverted and all lanes were reopened.
No other serious injuries were reported, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
CHP urges motorists to slow down and remain alert, particularly during early morning hours when visibility is limited and road conditions can change quickly.
