Crash at Brookhurst Street Kills One, Injures One in Huntington Beach, CA
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (May 27, 2022) – Early in the evening on Thursday in Huntington Beach, a two-vehicle crash killed one person and injured another. The May 26 crash occurred where Bushard Street and Brookhurst Street intersect.
The time was roughly 7:30 p.m., Jennifer Carey said. Carey is a spokesperson with Huntington Beach Police.
No details have been reported on how the crash happened, nor the line of travel of each vehicle prior to colliding.
The vehicles have not been described. According to Carey, one of the vehicles involved in the crash had earlier been pursued by Fountain Valley Police.
The police pursuit had ended before the crash happened, according to Carey.
Responders found one person was killed in the crash. The person’s identity, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The identity of the person who was injured is also not known. The types of injuries suffered have not been reported.
Investigators are continuing their work on the crash.
