Driver Needs To Be Transported By Helicopter After Head-On Collision on Highway 395
HESPERIA, CA (December 4, 2024) – A head-on crash on Highway 395 near Poplar Street early Wednesday morning left one person critically injured, prompting an airlift to a regional trauma center.
The accident, involving a gold Toyota Camry and a gray Mitsubishi Mirage, occurred around 7:30 a.m. on November 29. San Bernardino County firefighters responded to the scene and treated two patients. One sustained critical injuries and was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center via medical helicopter, while the other person suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance.
CHP Continues To Investigate The Highway 395 Head-On Collision
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the collision but has not yet disclosed the factors leading to the crash.
