San Diego, CA – A large SUV crashed into multiple parked vehicles and a fire hydrant Tuesday afternoon.
Harbor Drive stayed wet on a sunny San Diego day when a large SUV crashed into a fire hydrant. A man in a Ford Excursion lost control of his vehicle at around 1 p.m. in the Embarcadero area close to the Coronado Bridge.

The tires of his large SUV lodged onto the inside curb of a packed Solar Turbines parking lot that is facing the street. The SUV then crashed into front side of the parked vehicles until finally knocking over a fire hydrant, where it finally stopped. Auto grilles, bumpers and front lights were torn off the vehicles and laid in the path of where the SUV had passed.
San Diego Police found semi-inundated streets a toppled fire hydrant and seven crashed vehicles – five which sustained major damage. The driver of the SUV receive minor injuries.
