Truck Hits Multiple Vehicles in Goleta, Pushing One Vehicle into a Building

GOLETA, CA (March 28, 2019) – A moving truck struck two vehicles in the morning on Wednesday, which shoved one of the vehicles into a building in Old Town Goleta. The March 27 accident occurred on Hollister Avenue in the 5800 block.

The time was roughly a bit after 6:00 a.m.

Reports say that the moving truck had been heading east on Hollister Avenue. The truck went out of control. It then sideswiped two vehicles as it was traveling at a fast speed. According to reports, the two vehicles had much damage.

One of the vehicles that was struck was pushed into a building where Larry’s Auto Parts is located, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. It is not known from reports who had been driving the truck, including the person’s name, age, gender, and city of residence.

No details have been reported on the owners of the vehicles that were sideswiped. It is not clear if the vehicles that were struck were parked or also being driven.
