Man Dies after Crashing Car into Tree in Garden Grove
Garden Grove, CA (November 9, 2023) – Officers responded to a fatal single-car crash call that claimed the life of a 20-year-old man after his vehicle collided with a tree on Newhope Street near Garden Grove Boulevard.
20 Year Old Garden Grove Resident Lost Control of His Car and Slammed Into A Tree
Garden Grove police officers reported that the incident occurred around 12:05 a.m. in the 12900 block of Newhope Street. According to initial findings, the young driver, a 20-year-old local resident, inexplicably lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a collision with a tree.
Emergency services were promptly dispatched, and within minutes, paramedics confirmed the tragic death of the 20-year-old male at the crash site. Additionally, medical professionals rushed the driver to a nearby hospital in critical condition, along with an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl from Anaheim, both in critical states.
