Man Killed and 3 Others Injured in Horrific Crash on Saturday Afternoon
Garden Grove, CA (April 24, 2023) – A Santa Ana man died and three other people were injured in a four-car collision on Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred at around 3:30 pm in the 10800 block of Garden Grove Boulevard, near Nelson Street and Century Boulevard.
According to Sgt. Royce Wimmer of the Garden Grove Police Department (GGPD), four vehicles – a blue Ford 500 truck, a white Ford Mustang, a silver Honda Odyssey van, and a blue Toyota Rav 4 – were involved in the crash.
By The Time The Police Arrived 4 People Had Already Been Treated
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found four people who had been treated. Three were transported to nearby hospitals, and one was pronounced dead. The deceased was identified as a 52-year-old man from Santa Ana.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, with drugs and/or alcohol being considered as possible factors. Those who witnessed the collision were urged to contact Investigator Dan Mihalik at (714) 741-5925.
