Multi-vehicle Crash at Harbor Blvd. Kills One, Injures Three In Fullerton, CA
FULLERTON, CA (October 24, 2022) – Late in the afternoon on Sunday in Fullerton, three vehicles collided, killing a person and injuring three others. The October 23 crash occurred where La Entrada Place and Harbor Boulevard are located.
The time was roughly 2:45 p.m., Fullerton Police said.
Authorities allege a vehicle–described as a Kia Forte–had been traveling at a fast speed and it collided with Volkswagen Passat.
The two vehicles were thrown by the impact of the crash to strike a wall located at a corner of the intersection.
The two vehicles spun, and came to a stop near the bus bench at the intersection’s corner.
Authorities said a third vehicle–described as a Dodge Neon–approached the crash site, and the driver veered to miss striking the crashed vehicles. The Dodge went out of the driver’s control, crashed, and ended up near the intersection of Hermosa Drive and Harbor Boulevard, reports say.
Responders pronounced the driver of the Kia deceased at the crash site.
He was identified only as 29 years old. His name and city of residence have not been reported.
Responders transported the Volkswagen’s driver, and passengers of the Volkswagen and Dodge to hospitals in the area.
The patients suffered injuries that were being treated.
No one has been identified in reports.
